United Nations Amateur Radio Observers is a fictitious organization which observes and reports to the United Nations. U.N.A.R.O. has no loyalty to country, ethnic groups, political groups or religious groups. Members of U.N.A.R.O. do not wear uniforms of any kind and maintain a low profile in their stationed field of operation. Members receive no pay and a small living allowance for their three to six month tour. Travel, lodging and meals are provided. If you are interested in this great endeavor, contact the U.N. in New York. They will deny that such an organization exists. To be considered for duty, you must be a licensed amateur radio operator, have a pulse, have a melodious voice and be familiar with QWERTY. All vaccinations and life insurance premiums should be up to date. You must have a valid passport with at least one year left on it.
